“ Was meeting a friend for a walk at Cliff Walk & stopped here for a vanilla chai latte as I was very early. The latte was great & although I don’t drink coffee the aroma inside was fabulous! There were many folks sitting & enjoying themselves. The line was out the door but the baristas were very efficient & friendly! Will definitely stop in again when I am in town for some of the delicious looking desserts & another chai! ”

“ I like coffee, not an every day drinker but I get more than enough. Custom house is my new go to coffee shop. They have everything from bold to sweet. On that note I tried the iced coconut berry chai. I got hooked immediately, as in I went back the next day for another. I don't normally do that. I need more experience with their coffee. I've had a few here and there, never disappointed. Don't get spooked by the line out the door. It moves faster than say Dunks on a typical visit. The team here operates as a team and the system they have seems to work really well. They bring a nice stress free vibe to the establishment. I'm off tomorrow and heading to Custom House to kick off they day right! ”
“ Exactly what you would expect from a nice coffee shop. I have come here a few times and the coffee and espresso drinks are reasonably price and at least for me not overly sweet. This morning I got a cinnamon roll, which was quite enjoyable. They use laminated dough for a croissant type experience with good icing and appropriate level of cinnamon. In the mornings it is usually pretty packed so get here early if you want a seat. ”
“ I drove over an hour to get coffee from here. It is one of my favorite coffees shops EVER (I am from Texas but travel to New England for work. I wish Texas had a Custom House). Ordered the Chai and Pistachio muffin... so GOOD! I went every day that I was in town. ”
“ I kid you not it was the best bacon egg and cheese and iced coffee I ever had in my 26 years of life. I NEVER had a coffee provided for me where I didn’t need to add a damn thing. Out of this world flavors and perfect way to start my day! ”
“ I went to Newport RI for the day, and on my way back, i came across this coffee house. It was a Saturday, so It was pretty busy, but there was a decent sized lot to park in, and I was able to find a space. From the outside, it looks like a little house with a porch. They had flower boxes and tables and chairs. When you walked in, it was very inviting the food looked amazing. There were old wood barrels and an area where it looked like they made their own bags of coffee to sell. I loved the old jars and cans that lined shelves near the ceiling. Their was ample room for people to sit and enjoy their food and beverages as there were a couple of different areas with seating. I ordered a latte and a cinnamon roll, and the associates were very pleasant. The order came out quickly and was delicious. The cinnamon roll was the best I've ever had, I will definitely go back again. If you haven't checked them out yet. Please do, you won't be disappointed. ”
